Southern Paws & Claws is a small southern homestead where daily life revolves around caring for our animals, tending to the work at hand, and keeping things simple. What we share here comes from hands-on experience raising rabbits, ducks, chickens, and donkeys, along with the rhythms of everyday homestead life.

Do you offer shipping on animals or eggs?

No. All live animals, hatching eggs, and perishable farm items are available by local pickup only.

What animals do you raise?

We’re located in Ashburn, Georgia. Exact pickup details are shared after contact is made.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A non-refundable deposit may be required to reserve an animal. Deposits secure your place and are applied toward the final purchase price.

Are deposits refundable?

No. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel or fail to pick up within the agreed timeframe.

How long will you hold my animal?

Animals must be picked up within the agreed pickup window. If not picked up on time, the deposit may be forfeited and the animal may be offered to the next buyer.

Do you offer refunds on animals?

No. All livestock sales are final once the animal leaves our property.

Are your animals guaranteed breeders or show quality?

No. We do not guarantee fertility, breeding performance, growth rate, temperament, or show results. Animals are sold healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time of pickup.

What do I need before bringing animals home?

You should have appropriate housing, feed, water systems, and basic supplies ready before pickup. We do not release animals to unprepared setups.

Do you sell anything that can be shipped?

Yes. Select homestead goods and digital downloads may be available for shipping or online delivery.

Are your food items inspected?

Certain baked goods and preserves are produced under Georgia Cottage Food Law in a home kitchen that is not subject to routine government inspection.

Yes. We share practical, experience-based information about raising animals and living on the homestead. All content is for informational purposes only.
